    Proof! For years Paul McCartney has been asked what kind of strings he uses and has said, "Long Shiny Ones." But now the truth can be seen. They're black! Maybe even plastic coated. Check it out @ 10 32.

    They're tape-wound strings. He used them on both the Höfner DVD the Ric.
