New Paul McCartney video flood for "Tug of War"/"Pipes of Peace" reissues!

Paul McCartney has just released six videos to promote his "Tug of War" and "Pipes of Peace" reissues. They include a new remix of "Ebony and Ivory" plus a video on his collaborations, a deluxe DVD teaser for "Pipes of Peace" and one for "Tug of War," a look at the making of "Ebony and Ivory," comments about George Martin and the story of the making of "Here Today" (which for some reason isn't not featured in an outtake on the "Tug of War" reissues). You can see them all here.

PETA's official video of its 35th anniversary gala with Paul McCartney

Paul's not the whole video, but there are bits here of him playing at the beginning and the end. In between, there are a lot of other stars giving their testimonies of support for PETA.

A different take of "Strawberry Fields Forever"

An alternate version (well, it's marked "different", isn't it?) with the introduction by guest host Van Johnson on the ABC '60s variety series "The Hollywood Palace."

A stunning stereo "She Loves You" that could pass for the real thing

An absolutely amazing Deepsky Spectral stereo remix of "She Loves You" in stereo.

The same person has also done "Love Me Do." The results are equally great.

Thanks to Keith of Revolver Records for the alert on "She Loves You." EMI, are you listening?

Mark Hudson rocks up McCartney's "My Valentine"

"I'll Get You" in almost excellent stereo!

Here's "I'll Get You" in real (almost) stereo. Like the "She Loves You" clip we posted, this also can't be embedded, so again I can only put the link. Below is another version that can be embedded. But I think the first version is better. If I had to make a pick from both, "She Loves You' is better. But this doesn't sound bad.

"She Loves You" in true (enough) stereo! (revised)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-YtTE68ljo

This first one is about as close you're gonna get, but it can't be embedded so just the link is there. Nice effort. Below is a second effort. (Note: I revised this after the initial one I sent because of the embedding problem with the first video.)

Kids' '60s game show gives away a Beatles prize

Anyone remember "Shenanigans" with Stubby Kaye? It featured a board game played on a TV soundstage, just like "Video Village" with Monty Hall (also host of "Let's Make a Deal") did. The great part here is the prizes. One of them includes something to do with the Beatles and the video even shows the Beatles display. I'll take 10 cases, please.
